Refund & Cancellation Policy

Introduction

This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to all registrations for the Ramkrishna Hegde Memorial Cup Cricket Tournament ("Tournament") organized by Skanda Mediaworks Private Limited ("Organizer", "we", "us", "our"). By registering for the Tournament, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Policy.

General Refund Policy

All registration fees for the Tournament are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. This policy applies to all categories of participants, including individual players and corporate teams.

By completing the registration process and paying the registration fee, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances
• No cash refunds will be provided
• No credit notes or vouchers will be issued
• No transfers of registration to another person or team are permitted

Specific Cancellation Scenarios

Voluntary Withdrawal

If a participant or team voluntarily decides to withdraw from the Tournament:

• No refund will be provided
• No deferral to future tournaments will be offered
• The registration will be considered void

Disqualification

If a participant or team is disqualified from the Tournament due to violation of rules or code of conduct:

No refund will be provided

Any prizes or benefits already received must be returned

The participant or team may be banned from future tournaments

Medical Emergencies

In the event of a serious medical emergency preventing participation:

• A medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner is required
• No refund will be provided
• The Organizer may, at its sole discretion, offer a deferral to the next tournament
• Such decisions are final and binding

Weather-Related Cancellations

In the event of matches being cancelled due to adverse weather conditions:

• No refunds will be provided for weather-related cancellations
• Matches will be rescheduled to alternative dates
• If rescheduling is not possible, the Organizer will make best efforts to provide alternative arrangements

Corporate Team Cancellations

Corporate teams are subject to the same non-refundable policy. The corporate registration fee of ₹15,000 is:

• Non-refundable under any circumstances
• Non-transferable to other tournaments or events
• Not eligible for credit notes or vouchers

Corporate teams that fail to participate without prior notice will forfeit their registration fee and may be excluded from future corporate events.

Special Circumstances

In extraordinary circumstances, the Organizer may consider refund requests at its sole discretion. Such requests must be submitted in writing to admin@skanda.media with supporting documentation. However, there is no guarantee that any refund will be approved.

Special circumstances may include:

• Organizer-initiated cancellation of the entire Tournament
• Force majeure events that prevent the Tournament from taking place
• Other unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of participants

Processing Time

If a refund is approved under exceptional circumstances, the processing time may take up to 30 business days. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during registration.

Disputes

Any disputes regarding refunds or cancellations will be resolved in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. The decision of the Organizer is final and binding.

Changes to Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued participation in the Tournament after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified policy.
